Solution Sales Director - Central Europe (m/f/d)

Do you want to take over a senior position in our B2B sales team and actively develop, shape and scale successful B2B partnerships with bluechip utilities, energy-, home services- and heating OEM companies in Germany, Italy, East Europe and Nordics?
Then we are looking for you! Join our team as Solution Sales Director for Central Europe (m/f/d) in our Solution Sales Department. You will be based in our headquarters in Munich. You will have the responsibility for the topline development in your region, drive the account acquisition and account growth, work closely with our B2B Product Management and Marketing teams and the tado° management team.
Your daily responsibilities include the following points:
- You will be responsible for the topline in your region including budgeting and forecasting and reporting into Head of Solution Sales and tado° management
- You will lead on acquiring and growing tado° partnerships with blue-chip companies from the utility, energy, home services and heating industries in Germany, Italy, East Europe and Nordics
- You will drive the partnerships from agreement negotiations with C-Level, to product/service proposition development, to go-to-market implementation, always focusing on helping our partners to succeed
- You will be a consultant for tado° partners preparing marketing and sales strategy, and go-to-market planning
- You will be the link between the internal tado° teams (product & service management, legal, customer experience, supply chain, etc) and the tado° partners
- You will analyse new business opportunities within your market and your strategic partners
You already have a minimum of 8-10 years of work experience in B2B sales, key account management or business development in the wider energy, heating, or IoT sector or a comparable field. You are capable of driving your own region independently forward and represent tado° on C-Level at our partners, but you are also hands on and relish the chance to push yourself and tado° forward. Preferably you are already located in Munich.
- Studies in business administration, management, economics or industrial engineering (BSc or MSc)
- International business experience across cultures
- Experienced in data driven business models, IoT, energy and green tech
- Results focus and strong ownership
- Winning personality, excellent communication skills and the drive to fascinate and convince prospect partners
- Extensive experience in B2B account management
- Strong analytical skills, as well as Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Fast, reliable and independent work style
- Excellent English skills are essential (German, Italian or other European language skills would be a plus) - tado’s company language is English with employees from more than 35 different nationalities
